Contribution for Pulwama Attack
40 CRPF soldiers were killed in a car bomb attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on 14th February 2019. The attack has been claimed by Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed, whose chief Masood Azhar is roaming freely in Pakistan.
In the wake of these heinous and horrific terrorist attack, condemning messages are pouring for across the country and the world. Citizens are taking out candle march to offer solidarity to our Armed Forces and offering prayers for the martyr’s souls. Many generously contribute to take care of the family of the martyrs.
But let’s ask ourselves, is this truly what they need …..only prayers and solidarity after their martyrdom? Can’t we do something for them while they live? Time has come to empower our Armed Forces not only through moral support, but through material support !
The Indian Armed Forces do not believe in speaking but in displaying its valour. Our army is happiest when we sleep in peace. They have no complaints. But they will never forgive us if we sleep when we should be awake. It will be injustice to the army. Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.
SGVP International School, SGVP Gurukul Pariwar and SGVP well-wishers have taken an initiative to collect funds for the Indian Armed Forces and empower them.
We urge each any every citizen to participate in our drive to collect funds for the Indian Armed Forces, which will be directly handed over to the Armed Forces.
