Dinning Hall:

     Nutritious and tasty food is provided in the spacious dining hall where 500 students can dine comfortably at a time. Our Kitchen is well equipped with latest electrical and steam cooking appliances and food is prepared by specially trained cooks with utmost hygienic care.

     Weekly food menus are designed by professional nutritionist after taking students’ opinion and it is ensured that quality, standard and varieties of food is based on the parameters of dietetics which provides daily quota of required calories. Emphasis is given to improve food habit and dining etiquettes. 

SGVP provides strictly vegetarian food five times a day which comprises of:

            Breakfast         -           7:00 AM

            Lunch               -           During school hours (Between 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

            Snacks             -           4:00 PM

            Dinner              -           7:30 PM

            Milk                  -           10:00 PM




     The canteen provides fresh and nutritious snacks like fruits and fruit juices, light snacks, ice cream, chocolates etc. it has been set up for visitors, staff and students. Hostellers may visit cafeteria during their activity time in the evening as per their schedule and have snacks at cost using Canteen Card only. No cash transaction is allowed anywhere in the campus. Snacks to the students is not sold during morning hours & lunch time/meal time.
