Dining Hall & Canteen
Dinning Hall:
Nutritious and palatable food is provided to the students at spacious dining hall where 750 persons can dine comfortably at a time. The kitchen is well-equipped with latest electrical & steam cooking appliances and the food is prepared by specially trained cooks with utmost hygienic care.
Weekly food menus are designed by professional nutritionist after taking students' opinion and it is ensured that quality standard and varieties of food is based on the parameters of dietetics which provides daily quota of required calories.
SGVP provides strictly vegetarian food five times a day which comprises light breakfast in the morning, lunch at noon during school time, snacks in the afternoon, supper in the evening and milk/fruit juices before going to bed. All meals are compulsory. Emphasis is given to improve food habits of the students.

Canteen:
The canteen provides fresh and nutritious snacks like fruit juices, light snacks, ice-cream, chocolates, tea, coffee etc. It has been set-up for the visitors, staff and the day-school students who do not bring tiffin.
The hostellers may visit canteen during their free time in the evening as per the schedule. The snacks to the students is not sold during meal time. The money transactions will be carried out through the Canteen Purchase Card.
